Customer Review: Outstanding product
I was initially leery because the bottle needs to be refrigerated after opening, but the benefit of this consistency over hard cubes is hard to overstate. You can use exactly as much or as little as you need; it can be dissolved easily in cold liquids; and the flavor is just excellent. I’ve used it in everything from risotto to aash-e reshteh, and it hasn’t disappointed me yet.
Customer Review: Delicious!
I just tried this product tonight and used it to make delicious gravy! This is the best base I have used as it produced great results. I consistency is so much better than the cube and the taste…you won’t be disappointed. Also bought the mushroom but have not yet tried it.

Vegetarian Guide to Diet and Salad by Dr. Norman Walker
Vegetarian Guide to Diet and Salad by Dr. Norman Walker Features & SpecificationsVegetarian Guide to Diet and Salad by Dr. Norman Walker Book DescriptionBoth a Recipe book and nutritional guide, “Diet and Salad” belongs in every homemaker’s kitchen. The chemical elements in food–protein, amino acids, milk starches, etc.–are clearly explained. Recipes by the dozen are supplied.About the AuthorDr. Norman Walker is the longest-lived, widely-known raw-foodist of the modern era. Thousands upon thousands of people credit Dr. Walker’s live-vegetable-juice therapy for healing them of “incurable” diseases, including Jay Kordich, known to the world as “The Juiceman.” When Jay Kordich had cancer, he met and was tremendously inspired by Dr. Walker. After healing himself of cancer through The Raw-Food Diet and juice therapy, Jay worked with Dr. Walker beginning in the 1940s up until Dr. Walker’s death in the mid-80’s at an age of well over 100.For more than 100 years, Norman W. Walker, Ph.D., proved through research and experience that well-being and long life go hand-in-hand. Through the non-stop activities of raw-food enthusiasts, such as Nature’s First Law, modern day nutritionists and medical researchers are finally discovering the raw truths which Dr. Walker knew and taught throughout the twentieth century. Dr. Walker was living proof that a longer, healthier, more enjoyable life is achieved through The Raw-Food Diet, mental poise, and intelligent body care. Dr. Walker’s contributions to the common heritage of humankind began before the turn of the century in London, where as a young man he became seriously ill due to over-work and stress. Unable to accept a sentence of ill-health and early death, Dr. Walker healed himself with living foods and vegetable juices. Among Dr. Walker’s greatest contributions was his discovery of the therapeutic value of fresh vegetable juices and in 1930, the development of what would become known as the Norwalk Press Juicer. Original Dr. Scholl’s Women’s Twist 2 Slide
The name says it all: meet the new twist on everyone’s favorite Dr. Scholl’s.
Customer Review: Dr. Scholl’s Twist 2 slides
These are so amazingly comfortable!! Affordable, too. I purchased these elsewhere, and came on Amazon to find more colors in my size. I can’t say enough about them!!!
Customer Review: Dr. Scholls Twist 2 slide sandals
I highly recommend these sandals. They have a good, casually stylish high-tech look, are well made and are also comfortable. This is my second pair; the first were the original Twist style from last summer (’07) and the difference is that Twist 2 has a bumpy, raised insole which I think was re-designed to help the bottoms of your feet swet less, which they naturally did when sitting flush against the smooth rubber of Twist 1 (but I still wear the Twist 1s). The rubber is resilient so they make great walking shoes, giving a lot of support - I wear them for long walks; the only thing is, the bumps on Twist 2 are very raised and started giving the bottoms of my toes blisters. I think they’ll go away and my feet are prone to blistering. Overall though the shoe is quite soft, meaning the rubber the sandal is made out of, and the patent leather strap that goes over the foot is also very soft. And the patent leather looks good for the price (not cheap quality), which I couldn’t tell from the online photos. As far as sizing goes they run true to size, not large, which is refreshing and makes picking a mail-order size a lot easier. They seem identically sized to the Dr. Scholls wooden sandals.

The Vegetarians of Love
1990 solo album for the former Boomtown Rats frontman. Guests include Paul Carrack, Kevin Godley & Dave Stewart. Produced by Rupert Hine. 12 tracks.
Customer Review: Sometimes dark but always witty…
Celtic-Rock, Cajun-Pop, Irish-Folk are all apt descriptions of this wonderful album. The music is upbeat, the lyrics are sometimes dark but always witty.
Customer Review: This is the breath, this is the kiss.
There are few albums both this excellent and this obscure. Though Bob Geldof is one of the most interesting people in the music business, he misfires as much as (arguably more than) any other musician. By contrast to his other solo albums, “Vegetarians of Love” strikes the perfect balance between humor and pain. It’s easily the most humane album I’ve heard, finding humor in the blackest facts of existence and not concealing mortality in its most joyous moments. The album starts off strong, with the strongly Dylanesque “A Gospel Song.” Right away, the album’s unique blend of instruments (New Orleans accordions, Irish fiddles, and Paul Carrack’s organ (!) combine remarkably effectively here) comes to the fore. This song was a grower; the high point is the emotional understanding in St. Bob’s voice in the “It makes you cry” bits before each “chorus”. The song is Dylanesque, too, for the perverse use of perspective it uses: a former lover talking to a friend and current lover of the woman in question…? “Love or Something”, a collaboration with Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics, is an up-tempo and unabashedly poppy love song; out of context, as on Loudmouth, it’s not very involving, but placed where it is and placed in the context of the rest of the album (I’m using the American release; YMMV), it’s a bittersweet celebration of and complaint about love and aging. And jeesh is it hard to resist. The transition from “Going to a Go Go” to frustration with these damn human things and apocalyptic desolation would kill most albums stone dead, but not this one. It helps that the Great Song of Indifference is a blazingly ironic effort, with Bob first kissing off his relationship, then the person’s life, then himself, the government, the nation, the entire third world, and then the earth in general. O catharsis. And then he smirks that sin’s a social engineer and we go through another rousing round of “Na na nas”. If it were anyone else besides the Live Aid guy, it would be incredibly offensive. Maybe it should be anyway. It’s still one of the best songs ever written. An even better, if much more serious, track follows: “Thinking Voyager 2-type Things” (co-authored with Pete Briquette of the Rats). It’s both more and less weird than the title makes it seem, but at the core it’s a celebration of life, an invocation of the creative impulse in all its forms, from sex to spacecraft. It’s transfixing from the resurrection of Brendan Behan to the last promise to turn up the signal of Voyager 2. If ever you’ve looked at the stars with a sense of wonder, if ever you’ve gone back with your partner to that special place with a broken heater, if you’ve ever felt the urge to _create_, you need to hear this song. “Big Romantic Stuff” addresses more mundane matters, specifically the unquenchable need for excitement and narrative (and music!) in our lives. It’s a female mid-life crisis song; I’m a 22-year-old male and it makes ME laugh and think and feel. “Crucified Me” is the album’s darkest moment, with love becoming a crucifixion. Hey, if you knew Paula Yates, you’d understand. It’s moving but not very relevant to me. It fleshes out “painful, passionate obsession” in the catalog of human nature, though. A-and social ills are here again! “The Chains of Pain”, co-written with Danny Mitchell (of the Messengers), makes coy reference to some politician named George in its cryptic first verse, reminiscent of Dylan’s “Highway 61 Revisited,” but quickly becomes more direct: it’s about smashing the broken bonds that hold you in captivity to pain, and on this fifteenth anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre the song’s celebration of the lives of the murdered demonstrators is still riveting. “A Rose at Night” seems more prolonged at 5:43 than “Walking Back to Happiness” does at 7:33. “Rose” is a bit meandering; I’m still not sure what the point of it is. The words are evocative, though, seeming to be about understandings reached too late, and the music is as warm as an summer evening’s breeze. “No Small Wonder” celebrates the mind’s power to take us away from quotidiana. Geldof is a musician who has worked hard in his life and it shows in this song. The line “It’s no small wonder” is delivered each time with both irony and awe, and if you know of any other song that combines the two this well be sure to recommend it! “Walking Back to Happiness” is the final masterwork of the album. It’s the endorphin rush after the knock-out fight, the warm, calm glow after you’ve just been thrown out of the house. Luckily Helen Shapiro has two arms, one for Bob and one for me. But it wouldn’t be a great album if it ended here, peacefully as it would. Instead Bob grabs us all by the shoulders and gives us a thorough shake with “Let It Go”, a expression of what happens when frustration and love collide. “Is this religion without priest, prayers, or pews?” Bob asks; most of us know well enough that the answer is yes. And, lest we leave either too happy or too sad, there’s yet one last comic annihilation. “The End of the World” is unabashed and deeply-felt parody, one more chicken little saying, “Oh, you bleeps, you’re gonna get it for what you’re doing. Eventually.” Where else are you gonna hear Bob Geldof lump himself in with “Nostradamus and Jesus and Buddah”, anyway? It’s a funny and bleak ending to the album. So, Bob’s covered creation, growth, love, sex, age, and death; done it with humor, honesty, compassion, charm, and soul; and completely avoided resorting to cliche, sap, or melodrama. Can you really ask for more in an album, or in any work of art? I vote no.

Mae Ploy Thai Yellow Curry Paste - 14 oz jar
We offer a few different curry pastes (red, panang, green, matsaman, sour) and yellow is the only one that is truly vegetarian, as it doesn’t have shrimp paste. Used to make yellow curry soup known as “karee” flavor in Thailand. Mae Ploy is recognized in Thailand as a high quality export product with rich taste and authentic flavor. Packed in convenient plastic tub with lid. All natural. Click ImportFood.com above to view our other products. Go to ImportFood.com to view more items, pictures and recipes.
Customer Review: Fresh-tasting, mild yellow curry paste with long shelf life
New to Thai cuisine, I asked to try a milder curry, my tastes running to a maximum of medium heat. Yellow curry was recommended, and the coconut milk based Thai version was a treat with both seafood and chicken-something I’ve had occasion to order again and again. So when trying to re-create the taste sensations above, I was less than thrilled at the idea of grinding individual spices, purchasing a number of pricey ingredients with limited shelf life and narrow applications. I did some research and found that many Thai housewives rely on the time and labor savings of using high quality curry pastes as the basis for soups, curries and more. Mae Ploy was one of the brands repeatly mentioned as high quality and fresh tasting. This brand comes in a handful of flavors and heat levels, with the Yellow Curry Paste being the first I was eager to try. It has a shelf life of 2 years, and the large plastic pouch also keeps very well nestled in its own colorful tub in the refrigerator. The flavors of lemon grass, shallot, gingery galanga, kaffir lime peel, warm spices and red chili are very well balanced. This is the only Mae Ploy Curry paste without shrimp paste, making it vegan-suitable as well as delicious with shellfish, fish or fowl. I like to snip off one corner of the clear packet, then squeeze out just the amount I need-anywhere from 1/2 teaspoon to 2 Tablespoons, depending on the recipe. This helps to maintain freshness and flavor and avoid waste. For Thai curry, I will combine the Yellow Curry Paste with a small amount of chicken broth, then add 3/4 Cup more broth per person, plus a can of coconut milk to mellow and round the flavor. A cup or two of chunked seafood or chicken, plus cubed potatoes and onion-simmered together for about 30 minutes- makes a very satisfying dish to serve with either traditional sticky rice or more the more occidental long grain variety. Mae Ploy’s Thai Yellow Curry is also delicious with just a bit added to your favorite dip, salad dressing, or try a teaspoonful combined with 1 cup of sour cream or plain yogurt ‘painted’ over your favorite fish fillets and baked just until cooked through, (about 15-20 minutes at 325). The fine quality of this product has encouraged me to order another flavorful curry paste-also excellent-and I would highly recommend this product for those wishing to re-create favorite restaurant fare at a reasonal price, without tedious preparation.

Customer Review: Best Multivitamin Ever!!!
I have tried many different “super” multis (not the wimpy ones like Centrum, etc.). I cannot tolerate those with iron so this one has a nice balance of B vitamins and and excellent formula with higher amounts of essential nutrients. As an added bonus, it also has some greens in it. I have stuck with this vitamin ever since I found it. Highly recommend it.

Pure Komachi by Kai 6-1/2-Inch Stainless-Steel Santoku Knife with Scalloped Edge
The most eye catching line of knives in today’s kitchen! Each Pure Komachi knife is designed for a specific function - from small fish knife, ideal for sushi preparation, to the versatile bread knife to the popular chef knife. The high-carbon stainless steel of the blade provides a razor-sharp edge, while the fluorinated-resin coating keeps food from sticking during preparation, resists corrosion, and makes cleanup quick and easy.
Customer Review: The paint comes off
The paint comes off if they are used much and the most used gets dull. I’d love to return or find out what the problem is. I bought 2 friends complete sets as well as myself. All three sets are doing this.
Customer Review: THE BEST
I simply love Komachi knives. At present I own four, each has its own purpose and should be used for such. Sharp and seemly they remain so, easy to hold and use. Great price for a fabulous product, no need to pay more.

Speedo Men’s Surfwalker 2 Water Shoe
The Surfwalker 2 slip-on from Speedo is the perfect sea-and-shore shoe. It features a stretchy knit upper with mesh insets for quick-drying breathability and a secure but comfortable fit, along with the most flexible rubber outsole we’ve ever felt.
Customer Review: Could be better
I bought these surfwalkers to use while I am wade fishing. They are ok except for one thing. The inside cushions are not adhered to the bottom hence they move around inside under my feet. I took them out but walking on the uncovered rubber bottom is a bit uncomfortable.
Customer Review: Acceptable, but——
Shoe does well in the pool, however the innersole and the innersole-covering separate from the rest of the shoe. I had to glue both after a short period. There may be a better pool shoe available, however these appeared to be a good dollar value.

UNCLE EDDIES VEGAN 4 BAG VARIETY PACK
Soft and chewy Vegan cookies. No animal products, including dairy. The Variety pack includes Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Trail Mix.
Customer Review: The best cookies of all time, period.
Possibly even better than the best homemade cookies. All four flavors are divine…my mouth is watering just thinking about them!
Customer Review: Deliciously in heaven
Unfortunately, I’ve only eaten them twice in the last few years, we always specifically look for them in the organic stores… Your first bite will be memorable, and say, “WOW, Orangic, butter free? no way!!” Tastes better than any cookie I’ve ever had… too bad I haven’t seen them in awhile, since they’re always sold out! I am a huge fan of the peanut butter cookies that taste so buttery and heavenly that it’s hard to believe that these cookies have no butter. Their raisin oatmeal is the best raisin oatmeal cookies I’ve had in a long time…

Low-Fat Hummus (Middle-Eastern Garbanzo-bean Spread)
Traditionally this recipe is made with much more tahini and several tablespoons of

olive oil. This low-fat version is so delicious you won’t miss the extra fat.

1 can garbanzo beans (chick-peas), rinsed well

1 1/2 clove fresh garlic (or one teaspoon garlic powder)

Juice of 1 and 1/2 lemon

1 tablespoon tahini

Put ingredients in food processor. Blend until creamy.

Serving Ideas: Serve with pita wedges, or for a delicious sandwich, spread a thick

layer of hummus on bread or a sliced roll (or inside a pita) and add sprouts and

tomato slices. Hummus is also great as a vegetable dip. Try dipping raw carrot and

celery slices, brocolli flowerets, and tomatoes.
