Recipes by the dozen are supplied.About the AuthorDr. Norman Walker is the longest-lived, widely-known raw-foodist of the modern era. Thousands upon thousands of people credit Dr. Walker’s live-vegetable-juice therapy for healing them of “incurable” diseases, including Jay Kordich, known to the world as “The Juiceman.” When Jay Kordich had cancer, he met and was tremendously inspired by Dr. Walker. After healing himself of cancer through The Raw-Food Diet and juice therapy, Jay worked with Dr. Walker beginning in the 1940s up until Dr. Walker’s death in the mid-80’s at an age of well over 100.For more than 100 years, Norman W. Walker, Ph.D., proved through research and experience that well-being and long life go hand-in-hand. Through the non-stop activities of raw-food enthusiasts, such as Nature’s First Law, modern day nutritionists and medical researchers are finally discovering the raw truths which Dr. Walker knew and taught throughout the twentieth century. Dr. Walker was living proof that a longer, healthier, more enjoyable life is achieved through The Raw-Food Diet, mental poise, and intelligent body care. Dr. Walker’s contributions to the common heritage of humankind began before the turn of the century in London, where as a young man he became seriously ill due to over-work and stress. Unable to accept a sentence of ill-health and early death, Dr. Walker healed himself with living foods and vegetable juices. Among Dr. Walker’s greatest contributions was his discovery of the therapeutic value of fresh vegetable juices and in 1930, the development of what would become known as the Norwalk Press Juicer. Original Dr. Scholl’s Women’s Twist 2 Slide
The name says it all: meet the new twist on everyone’s favorite Dr. Scholl’s.
Customer Review: Dr. Scholl’s Twist 2 slides
These are so amazingly comfortable!! Affordable, too. I purchased these elsewhere, and came on Amazon to find more colors in my size. I can’t say enough about them!!!
Customer Review: Dr. Scholls Twist 2 slide sandals
I highly recommend these sandals. They have a good, casually stylish high-tech look, are well made and are also comfortable. This is my second pair; the first were the original Twist style from last summer (’07) and the difference is that Twist 2 has a bumpy, raised insole which I think was re-designed to help the bottoms of your feet swet less, which they naturally did when sitting flush against the smooth rubber of Twist 1 (but I still wear the Twist 1s). The rubber is resilient so they make great walking shoes, giving a lot of support - I wear them for long walks; the only thing is, the bumps on Twist 2 are very raised and started giving the bottoms of my toes blisters. I think they’ll go away and my feet are prone to blistering. Overall though the shoe is quite soft, meaning the rubber the sandal is made out of, and the patent leather strap that goes over the foot is also very soft. And the patent leather looks good for the price (not cheap quality), which I couldn’t tell from the online photos. As far as sizing goes they run true to size, not large, which is refreshing and makes picking a mail-order size a lot easier. They seem identically sized to the Dr. Scholls wooden sandals.
