Customer Review: Shipping was so fast!
I ordered this YESTERDAY a.m. 11/28/07 It is barely 2 p.m. and it just arrived. The notice said up to the 24th of December, and I was a little worried, but it just arrived. My husband purchased the same item on line for our little boy at SAMS, paid tax and shipping for over $100 more, but I found this deal and ordered one four our little girl! What a deal! I am so excited! FREE SHIPPING, and So FAST!
Customer Review: don’t buy the Razor dirt quad
We purchased this for Christmas ‘06. It has run a total of about 3 months. We have replaced batteries, wheel bearings, and charger. Now we still can’t get it to charge. We have also tried to call Razor customer service & haven’t gotten much help there. I’ve told my kids that Santa doesn’t shop at Razor anymore!

Apollo Precision Tools DT0773N1 - 135 Piece Household Pink Tool Kit
Price: $49.99
Customer Review: Nice Handy Set
This is a nice 135 piece set for everyday use, the power driver is not that powerful but enough though for quick easy things.Grip for the tools is nice too.
Customer Review: Quality, Except for Poor Workmanship
This tool kit has all of the hand tools and a few more that a (more likely woman) will need. I have so far found all of the tools to be sturdy and well designed. Upon opening my Apollo Tool Box, I immediately noticed the poor workmanship. All of the tools have a CHINA print or label on them, as the entire kit was Made in China. There are unfinished edges to the plastic pieces (flakes or rough edges). The tools overall have the appearance of coming through a factory line and immediately being put in the box, without a final check. All tools have proved durable (though I have only had this for a month) but the presentation of the tools is surprisingly poor. Perhaps the appearance is of no concern to some, but if given as a gift, this tool box may look “cheap” due to the workmanship.

Customer Review: Best TV Learning Toy
My son just got this from his grandparents, and I have to say I am really impressed. We’ve owned several of the TV learning toys (Little Leaps, FP Learn with Me DVD come to mind) and were not really impressed with those. This toy will teach him how to interact with a real computer, and lets him have fun doing it. My son is almost 3, and has been given a probable diagnosis of Aspergers syndrome. Small motor coordination is difficult for him at times - I LOVE that this toy lets him work on his mouse skills. He absolutely LOVES this computer, and I do too. The games seem to be varied enough not to get too monotonous, the way some preschool computer software can. We decided to hook this toy up to a small TV that isnt connected to cable, so that as far as he is concerned, its just a computer monitor. So far, so good!
Customer Review: Good preparation for using real computers
I bought this for my 2.5 year old who has been showing an interest in using the computer. The nice thing about clickstart is that it comes with a keyboard and mouse and it has a desktop with icons, so it will prepare your child to move onto a real computer. The games that come with the system are so engaging to my daughter that she gained a lot of control over both the mouse and keyboard in less than a week. I thought it would take a lot longer for her to learn mouse and keyboard control, so I was very impressed. If your child has not learned their letters, numbers and colors yet then the level 1 games that come with the system will be a good introduction. If your child already knows these things, the level 1 games will teach them how to use the mouse and keyboard well. Level 2 has a spelling game, which is very good for children who know their letters. They will also develop better mouse skills and keyboard knowledge with faster, timed games. The games are long enough to build skills and short enough to hold a small child’s attention. Unfortunately, you can only choose level 1 or 2 when you first log in, so if your child is at level 1 in some games but level 2 in others they will have to restart the system to change levels. Fortunately, the purchased games do allow you to choose level 1 or 2 without restarting. If your child knows letters, numbers and colors the games on the system will not be too helpful from an educational point of view (other than the spelling game and the inbox which teaches some facts about animals). You may have to buy some games with the system or soon after buying it to keep their attention. However, if your child is still learning these things the games on the system should keep them busy for a while. I have two complaints. First, there is the lack of games but clickstart is fairly new to the market, so hopefully more will be added soon. Second, the games only come with two levels, so its possible that many children might outgrow the games quickly. A third level would have extended their usefulness longer. At $19.99 the longer the games can be used the better.

Spiderman Youth Golf Club Set
Introduce your child to the game of golf courtesy of that crime-fighting webslinger, Spiderman. This beginner’s set for children ages 3 to 6 includes three clubs–driver, putter, iron–as well as a golf bag, all emblazoned with colorful Spiderman logos. The clubs are weighted just right for youngsters and include black rubber grips with spider accents and lightweight red shafts. The metal heads (blue for the driver and putter, silver for the iron) are decorated with Spiderman illustrations. The fabric golf bag includes a shoulder strap, mesh pocket for holding balls and tees, and a zippered pocket for other gear.

The driver features a sharp image of Spiderman on the head of the club.

The putter is just the right size and weight for learning the essentials of the game.

The silver iron includes more graphics of Spiderman.

Customer Review: AWESOME!
I bought this to replace a Microsoft Intellimouse. This mouse fits my medium size hands perfectly. I love the size, the scroll wheel, the fit…it rocks!!!!! I use it for my desktop computer. The price isn’t bad here on Amazon. It’s worth every penny!!!! If you like having the best gizmos - you must buy this mouse and JOIN THE REVOLUTION!
Customer Review: Love the free wheeling scroll wheel
It makes moving through lengthy documents and web pages a breeze. As some have already noted, the forward/back function keys are not the easiest to use but work OK. The zoom keys are not as easy to use as using the CTRL key/scroll wheel to zoom in and out. It is big for a portable mouse but I like it as I can use it both with my laptop and deskside computer by just moving the USB receiver. Not really the best for any kind of gaming requiring fast, consistent response as it sometimes lags or just doesn’t respond. I just got it so no idea of what durability will be.

Customer Review: iPod Revolution
I think is great to leave something clear: why cooperate with such a comercial product? Why giving it more power to take money away from people? if you notice this device slowly evolved with “generations” so you buy the new model each year, they could release the iPod color when cell phones already had color screens, but didn’t… $ Same with all the other models, now why letting a company control what you hear? or how you hear it with their own music format and software that feeds their databases with stats they later on sell to companies, or companies that already paid them for you to receive their info without asking for it. Less is more friends.
Customer Review: Windows 2000 ? You’re out of luck !
I bought the iPod Nano G3 for a present for my son. He was very excited. That is–until he tried to synch it with iTunes on his computer. New iPods REQUIRE a version of iTunes that NO LONGER SUPPORTS WINDOWS 2000! Maybe in Silicon Valley, everyone is wealthy enough that the kids have new computers running Vista or Leopard. In my little corner of the real world, my kids inherited our older computers–running Win 2K. So we had to return the iPod. . .

The original kick scooter just got a whole lot better, making it even more fun for kids and teens alike. Though it’ll never replace the internal combustion engine, the Razor A2 will get your child from point A to point B much quicker than on foot alone, and requires just a few scoots of one’s shoes in the process. Plus, it’s a blast to use, as your progeny will likely attest.

The Razor A2 is built of aircraft-grade aluminum, a sturdy material that holds up to use and abuse through the years. Razor combined the traditional aluminum construction, however, with a number of recent innovations, including a springless shock system that makes bumpy pavement feel smoother than ever and an all-new wheelie bar that guarantees an extra dollop of fun. Add in the foldable T-tube and deck, which tuck together to create a compact footprint (ideal for carrying when riding isn’t appropriate), and you have a great kick scooter for virtually any situation. Other details include an enhanced finger guard, 98 mm inline-style wheels, and a patented rear fender brake for quick stops.

This version of the Razor A2, which weighs around 6 pounds and supports up to 143 pounds, sports red handlebars, a red deck logo, and red wheels and is recommended for ages 5 and older. It’s also backed by a six-month warranty. For the next step up, try the Razor A3 Scooter.

Key Features:

  • For riders ages 5 and older
  • Sturdy aluminum construction
  • Weighs approximately six pounds
  • Rear fender brake
  • Enhanced finger guard
  • Patented folding mechanism

My 10 year old son loves this scooter. I can’t get him off of it for anything. He’s skating all over our house. I am so glad to see him getting some exercize for a change. He used to be in front of his computer day and night. A scooter is a definite great gift for the season, and my son loves this one.

Customer Review: While I don’t regret watching it, I can’t recommend it
I’d say the movie was about as good as the book - which is basically fluff. The characters lacked depth, and the story was weak at best. I don’t regret watching it, but I would also never want to see it again. If you have anything else to do, you’re better off doing it instead of spending the time with this movie.

Customer Review: The lying devil of old
The wretchedly written and grammatically incorrect sentences in the excerpts I glimpsed from Dan Brown’s “The DaVinci Code” were more than enough to discourage me from reading his controversial best-seller, but I was curious enough about the uproar to watch Ron Howard’s film version on DVD.

Is it really as blasphemous as critics charge?

Oh my, is it ever.

If fans of Brown’s fiction were to bother reading the Bible, they might see how this preposterous attempt to disprove the divinity of Jesus Christ is just one more example of end-times prophecy being fulfilled. The mockers and blasphemers are coming forward in great numbers, just as Jesus said they would, determined to recast the Son of God in deceptive New Age terms or to dismiss Him all-together. In doing so, they are paving the way for the Antichrist who will deceive the whole world into accepting him as the Messiah.

The big bad beast does not make an appearance in Howard’s film, but his coming is alluded to in the climax. The figure whom, it is suggested, is the only one worthy to possess the Holy Grail could be no one else. It certainly isn’t the real Christ because the pursuit of some so-called Holy Grail is pure idolatry as warned against by God. Placing mystical value on any object, be it the chalice that Jesus sipped from during the Last Supper, or the spear that pierced His side during the crucifixion, or the Shroud of Turin, is Satanic in origin, emphasizing that which has been created rather than the Creator himself.

As for DaVinci, it is well-known that he was a member of several secret societies, the likes of which still flourish today, to carry out the devil’s plan to blind our eyes to the truth. Any “codes” in his work are in service to that lying devil of old and reveal nothing but his own corruption.

On a purely cinematic level, “The DaVinci Code” is still a bust. This is third-rate Indiana Jones stuff, poorly made and indifferently acted. With the kinks in his hair ironed out, Tom Hanks looks like…well, I’ll leave it to you to choose the private anatomical part he most resembles. The two-time Oscar winner’s seemingly invulnerable career hit a bump in the road around the time of “The Terminal.” His presence in a film based on a cheap pop culture phenomenon may have temporarily stalled his decline, but in the long run it may only accelerate it. Ian McKellon is so obnoxious here that I wanted to slap him.

As for Ron Howard, he probably should have stayed in Mayberry. He wouldn’t have gone on to a directing career or an Oscar, but as the Bible asks, “What doth it profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul?”

Customer Review: What electronica should sound like
I really like dance electronica. That said, there’s only so much of it that’s different. This compilation is the best of the stuff that makes me move and relax, at the same time. I never get tired of this series. Same goes for every one of the Buddha-Lounge albums by Sequoia Records.

Customer Review: Lovely mix of world beat and electronica
This album is a mixture of world beat including asian, indian and middle eastern rhythms and melodies, with an electronica feel. It is in the same vein, but softer than Dum Dum Project’s mix of indian chants. I highly recommend it for meditation or yoga, but also just to relax while studying for a test or having to deal with any stressor. It is not sticky sweet, or cloyingly annoy as something like Enya (not all songs, but some) can be…You won’t go use this for aerobics or running, so if you are looking for more up beat electronica with world sounds you should try the new Reboot- Music for the next generation from Om Records. Benefits from both CDs also go to charity, so that’s bonus. For what this music is intended, i.e. lounge type chill with a world beat influence, it does an excellent job, and I highly recommend it.

Customer Review: I loved it!
“Legend” is, simply, fun. HER Interactive manages to interest an enormous age range of players from 10 years old and up. And I mean UP: I am 77. I was gratified that there were no tedious chores to do in this game, however. The story takes place in New Orleans in a spooky mansion to which is attached a huge cemetery. You have to find the Crystal Skull and determine whether the owner of the mansion, Bruno Bolet, was murdered. As usual, there are four suspects. Plenty of atmosphere to titillate young and old player hearts. You collect, of all things, glass eyeballs. One of your tasks is to find the graves of various people via outrageous puns such as Myra Maines (my remains) and Constance Norring (constant snoring). OK, OK, that may seem a bit juvenile but I laughed my head off, and of course 10 year olds will be right in their element. The puzzles are well-integrated into the plot and they are not all that easy.Several require good mouse technique and a good eye, and at least in my case, many tries before success. However, if an old lady can succeed, so can you! The graphics are excellent as is the voice acting. The four human suspects are well done and their mouth movements match their speech. The huge cemetery is suitably creepy. It never stops raining and I really felt quite sodden sitting here. You encounter a potpourri of stuff including hoodoo, a lesson in dentistry, a live iguana which you dress up in costumes after enticing him with a loquat, New Orleans gumbo, a Rube Goldberg device, skeletons…what more could you ask for? 5 stars.
Customer Review: Good but still not great compared to past games!!
I enjoyed playing this game, but was hoping for more thrills and excitement! The beginning starts off with a bang. Nancy walks up to the house and knocks on the door as it opens on its own. She walks in and sees a figure in the next room dressed in a scary costume as the dark house is suddenly illuminated by a flash of lightening and roar of thunder from outside! I won’t give much more away but this is the only suspenseful moment in the game. The rest is searching for clues, questioning suspects and solving puzzles which is great but there should be more excitement throughout the entire game, not just in the beginning. We should have seen the costumed culprit a few times in the game like in the spooky graveyard that you as Nancy get to investigate! I loved the New Orleans setting and the rainstorm was a perfect fit! The game takes place in and around the house and a few times in town as Bess questions a few other suspects. This is a new feature as you take on the character of Bess. Everytime Nancy and Bess call each other, you switch to the other character. Near the end, the game froze as the call switched over. I think other people had this problem so what worked for me is that you save the game right when it freezes and then load it again and it should continue on. A small glitch Her Interactive should have caught. I’ve noticed the size of these games get larger and larger. I usually delete them once I play them because they take up so much space. I could buy more memory but no sense in a game staying on my computer until I play it again, if I decide to. The character of Bess can be annoying. She is always complaining and is not as adventurous as Nancy. Maybe if they use George again, we can have two strong female characters. I just got tired of Bess playing the chicken and whining about helping. My favorite games to date are Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake, Danger on Deception Island and Secret of Shadow Ranch because they use several locations and it’s suspenseful throughout with prolonged, exciting endings. I know other fans complain about the endings being dull, too short and not exciting. Her Interactive asks you to write game reviews on their website, and I truly believe they listen to what the fans say. I will be letting them know I want more suspense and scary moments through the entire game and better endings! I know these games are geared towards younger adults as well so they don’t want to make it too scary, but they need to consider the older adults too who want more chills! Maybe they can offer a new feature that has a ‘Mildly Scary’ and ‘Super Scary’ option? All in all, the game is good but it could have been improved a bit. The ending was okay but not as fun as others. When you spend so much time solving the mystery, there should be a bigger payoff at the end! One last thing, there is a swamp in the bayou with a boat just off the graveyard. I was really hoping Nancy would get to take the boat out somewhere which would have been fun, but they didn’t include that feature. Why go to New Orleans if you can’t even ride down the bayou in a boat!? I wish we could have learned more about hoodoo as well. The subject is mentioned but they don’t go into too much detail with it. It would have been more fun if there was a witch doctor character added and maybe Nancy could have conjured up some hoodoo spells. Sort of like the movie The Skeleton Key with Kate Hudson. 3.5 stars

Customer Review: Great workout
Great workout, I like that you can pick which areas you want to work on each day. The workouts are short, but she makes you work hard. Great for all levels because you can change how heavy your weights are.
Customer Review: This workout does the job!
People make fun of Denise Austin, but, hey, this workout is one of the best for toning. It seems deceptively easy; she doesn’t spend that much time on any exercise, but she covers all the muscle groups. It doesn’t take long to see some really good results (like goodbye “old lady arms.”)

It would not be an exaggeration to say that James Lidell’s the finest blue eyed soul singer in years, and thankfully he puts his pipes in service of the right stuff. Dude can seriously sing-one minute he reminds you of Otis, the next Sly, a brief detour through Marvin, a serious Prince workout, and then the dude goes and nails a great take on Stevie ’s style too. The production is really inventive and subtle. Songs like “Multiply” and “Game for Fools” start out sounding spot-on retro at first, but then little touches sneak into the mix later on that are decidedly modern - the crazy keyboard solo on the former and the drum programming and subtle vocal effects on the latter. What keeps Lidell from massive cheesiness a la Jamiroquai is evident on “The City,” the only real link here to Lidell’s previous crazy-beats-heavy and effects-laden solo album and his work with Supercollider. Its inclusion here helps ground the album in the present, and along with the brief live clip included in the enhanced portion of the disc, it is clear Lidell is a major talent. -Mike McGonigal

Customer Review: Multiply by Jamie Lidell - “A Little Bit More”
The CD is pretty good. I purchased the CD for one song, “A Little Bit More” which is the song that was being played in Target Commercials on TV. I looked to see if I could buy/download the individual song and I could not find it anywhere. I like about half of the CD. I really like “A Little Bit More”. The rest I don’t care for.

Fun for both kids and adults, Blokus is a strategy board game that challenges spatial thinking. Bright colors and simple rules make it ideal for ages five and up, but adults will certainly be engrossed by this unique and challenging game.

Not Your Average Board Game
Blokus encourages creative thinking and has received a Mensa award for promoting healthy brain activity. The goal of this game is for players to fit all of their pieces onto the board. When placing a piece it may not lie adjacent to the player’s other pieces, but must be placed touching at least one corner of their pieces already on the board. The player who gets rid of all of their tiles first is the winner and strategic thinking helps as you block moves from your opponent. Blokus sometimes comes to an end because there are no more possible moves.

Four players make this abstract game especially fast and exciting; however, it can be just as fun for two or three players. Blokus has come up with a number of different ways to play the game to make it more thrilling when playing with less than four players. Draft Blokus allows a player to use more than one color and Reverse Blokus reverses the entire game so that the person who places the least amount of tiles on the board is the winner. It can even be played in a solitaire version when one player attempts to place all of their pieces in a single sitting. A game of Blokus typically lasts a 30 minutes. As a practical feature, raised edges on the board help keep the tiles in place and allow convenient clean-up. This game includes 84 pieces in four vibrant colors, an instruction guide, and one gameboard with 400 squares.

Blokus is simple to understand, but the game’s complexity is revealed shortly after everyone begins to play. It can be addictive, even for those not normally into abstract games. Blokus is a catalyst for spatial thinking, as players form images in their mind before placing the pieces on the board. Children and adults can play together for hours of competitive family fun. As Europe’s 2003 Game of the Year, Blokus is adored by many and even played in professional tournaments.

What’s in the Box
84 pieces in four colors, gameboard with 400 squares, and an instruction guide.

Once a piece has been placed on the board it can’t be moved, so plan your moves carefully.

Adding to the game’s challenges, each new piece must touch at least one other piece of the same color, but only at the corners.

Customer Review: Blockus Rocks.
Blockus is one of those games that gets under your skin in a good way. You want to play it. It’s addictive. You can master it fairly easily if you understand a few simple principles about how to control spaces and how to place pieces on the board. For example, things that can help considerably are identifying the pieces you have and reminding yourself to put the pieces that will probably cause you trouble the most in the late game, put them down on the board asap. A real complex shape is not likely to get placed late in the game, and there’s a limited amount of room depending on how everyone’s laying down pieces. It really is a fantastic game and it’s given my family no end of fun and many hours of play and conversation. It’s one that even someone not trying that hard can win. Sometimes we play purely on instinct rather than strategy and it’s just as interesting and rewarding. If you just can’t get Chess, you’ll probably be able to get this. If you want to try it out first, try the Blokus online game, which is available at the Blockus Web site. Try searching for Blockus Online and see what you get. You can play several different kinds of Blockus, as well as the travel version online, and that’s addicting as well.
Customer Review: BLOKUS is the best game EVER! :)
I collect board games and added this to my collection based on all the great reviews. I was NOT disappointed. The game is so easy to learn and every game is different, even if you play mulitiple times with the same people. I was very skeptical based on the directions and game description I read online but sometimes it’s the simple games that you want to play again and again. The game dynamics can change with just one piece on the board and it’s very fun formulating strategies. Everyone we’ve introduced this game to loves it as much as we do and it always manages to make it’s way out on game night. The only drawback is you can’t really play with more than 4 people and we don’t like the game as much playing with 2 or 3 people. It’s really meant to play with 4 players. That’s the only drawback. Otherwise, I really want to play as I’m typing this. :)

Fuzion Asphalt Ultimate Carving Machine Scooter

Fuzion Asphalt Ultimate Carving Machine Scooter
Combining a kick scooter’s handlebar with a skateboard’s flexible quad-wheel alignment, the Fuzion Asphalt Ultimate Carving Machine lets you easily carve deep smooth turns, slide or air out. Four custom polyurethane wheels hug the road for exceptional handling–turning circles around those traditional two-wheeled models. It also features a wide concave deck, high tech steel frame design, folding/telescoping handle (rising from 29 to 36 inches off the ground, and articulated rear truck. It has a maximum weight capacity of 175 pounds.

Carve deep smooth turns, slide, or air out–it’s all up to you.

Foot Placement
You can place your feet anywhere that is comfortable. Most people like a parallel stance with toes facing forward and feet slightly spread forward and back. Learning to kick with either foot, foot brake, and slide turns with either foot, means you will be free to develop your own style of riding.

Turning The Asphalt
The Fuzion Asphalt Ultimate Carving Machine has independent control of the front and rear wheel steering. The front wheels steer the front of the Asphalt when the handle bars are turned, just like a car or bicycle. The back wheels turn the back of the Asphalt when the deck and the handlebars are leaned (banked) from side to side, like a skateboard. By using different combinations of leaning and steering you will quickly be carving and sliding all kinds of turns.

Stopping Techniques
Controlling speed and stopping are basic riding skills that must be learned. You must learn to foot brake and slide turns in order to slow down and stop. Effective braking requires practiced technique, well fitting skate shoes, smooth clean pavement, and room to turn that is free of obstacles, pedestrians, and cars or other traffic. It is very dangerous to ride faster than your ability to turn, slow down and stop. Please exercise good judgment, ride within your skill level, and remain safe.

Customer Review: Too cool!!!
Well my 7 year old got this about a month ago, I was not sure if he could handle all the movement of the wheels, but he does fine… It is well made and has survived my husband and older daughters as well.(My husband rides it all over the neighborhood, and makes it do amazing twists and turns!!) Giving you the effect of snow boarding while on a scooter…the handle makes trickier stunts safe for smaller kids. We have lots of hills here, not sure if it would be as much fun on a flat road, the effect of skiing and swooshing down slopes is what makes it so great.

I love Dream Life! It is very realistic. You can shop ’till you drop, go to the hair salon, go to your friend’s house, school, dances and parties, and much much more! You earn money to buy things by signing up for jobs and doing chores. If you get good grades, your parents will let you get a TV, phone, or computer. I recommend buying this toy to anyone who wants to have fun! Also, I just want to say that if you are on a Made in China boycott (like I am) that this toy is made in China. So, buy this toy and have a LOT of fun!

Customer Review: Needs dual shock, and ergonomic redesign
I grew up on PS2, and am very accustom the controller. These ones that have dual shock removed, leave you always wishing there was rumble. Having played with controllers that rumble for over 5 years, not having it is noticeable, even if having it isn’t. After playing Xbox 36o since its release (and the PS3 since its), I also long for a more ergonomic design (like the 360 controller, which is amazing), rather than holding a brick with buttons and a few curves. As far as sixaxis, I’ve never used it, it’s simply lame and childsplay to me.

In case everyone doesn’t know, dual shock 3 has been already released in Japan and will be coming out in the US and Europe in the spring. If you dont feel like waiting and feel like blowing your money on extra set when they actually come out then get these. If not, just wait or order the dual shock 3 now online. Just google for them.
